Participate Community from Care 4 Everyone supports NDIS participants to take part in local activities, social groups and meaningful events. With guided support, transport assistance and encouragement, we help you build confidence, explore your interests and feel a genuine sense of belonging in the community you choose.
Participate Community is support that helps you get involved in local life in ways that reflect who you are. It is about joining the activities, groups and events that matter to you and feeling welcome when you get there.
Our approach focuses on your personal interests, cultural inclusion and skill development. Through guided support, transport assistance and encouragement, we help you form relationships, explore hobbies and contribute to your community.
The aim is to support independence and social wellbeing while empowering you to live a fulfilling, connected life with confidence and purpose.
The best activities are the ones that feel like your own. We start by listening to what you enjoy, what you would like to try and what feels comfortable for you right now.
Community participation looks different for every person. One participant may want to join a social group each week. Another may prefer to attend the occasional local event. Someone else may want to explore a hobby they have always been curious about.
You have a say in what you do and how you do it. If an activity does not feel right, we can talk about other options. Your cultural values and personal interests are part of the conversation from the start.
Feeling connected is an important part of social wellbeing. Local activities, social groups and community events give you regular chances to meet people, share experiences and feel included.
Over time these opportunities can help you feel a stronger sense of belonging. You may find people who share your interests or you may discover a place in the community where you feel at home.
We provide respectful support and never rush you. Connections take time, so you can take part in your own way and at your own pace.
Participate Community may suit NDIS participants who would like to be more involved in local life, meet new people or build confidence.
It may be a good fit if you:
Families and carers often know a participant well and can offer valuable insight and we welcome their involvement where the participant would like it. Support Coordinators are also welcome to contact us to discuss whether Participate Community may suit a participant they support.
Every participant brings different interests and goals. Depending on your needs and your agreed support arrangements, our team may assist you with:
Support is shaped around your interests and respects your cultural background. You decide what feels right for you.
Confidence grows through experience. Each time you join a group, attend an event or meet someone new, you gain something you can carry into other parts of your life.
Through community participation you may:
Progress looks different for everyone. We recognise every step forward and support you to move at a pace that suits you.
Your support is planned around your circumstances, your interests, your abilities, your goals and your agreed support arrangements. Your cultural preferences are respected too.
You remain involved in every decision. You can tell us which activities you would like to take part in, how often you would like to attend and how much support you would like along the way.
If your interests or goals change, we are ready to talk about how your support can change with them.
Choosing a support provider is a personal decision. At Care 4 Everyone we are committed to:
